The newer "Gloria" DRG series introduced updated hydraulics — in some regions a Rexroth-based system — alongside a completely different CAN-bus K-Motion electrical architecture.
Confusing DRF and DRG components genuinely causes problems — using a DRF pump on a DRG machine (or vice versa) results in immediate ECU fault codes and hydraulic chatter, since the pump's flow-compensator settings are calibrated specifically for each generation's control logic.
